Ontario BScN Accelerated Program Fall 2022

Updated:   Published

Hello future nursing students,

I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.

To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.

How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together

Thank you! ? these programs are so crazy competitive though it's like you never know where you stand ... congrats on the waitlist though!! I remember last year a bunch of people got in off the waitlist so you've still got a great chance (especially this early on)! ?

Thank youu ?

Thank you! Goodluck to you as well.

Does anyone know if SPP's pass/fail grading system be a problem for people planning on getting grad degree after nursing? is pass a 3.0 or 4.0 or pass is simply pass on transcript with no GPA assigned?

people have said that graduates do go on to do grad programs so I assume it is not an issue! ?

It won't let me make a separate post for this comment but:

People who have got accepted to SPP (congrats btw!!) - when do you have to accept your offer by?

For those applying to McMaster's accelerated nursing program, does your transcript and supplementary application still say "required"? Mine does, and I'm getting concerned as OUAC has sent my transcript to them and Altus Suite sent my CASPeR score to them almost two months ago now. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I should be concerned. Thanks!

Is this on MOSAIC or the application portal?

Mine says that as well! I had emailed them about it and they said they had received all of my info and that it would just take a while to update

Hey guys does anyone have an idea of how many waitlist spots were given out by nipissing this year or last?

Hey guys do we know yet when is the deadline to accept the conditional offer for Nipissing SPP?

does anyone know the class size for York, Nipssing, McMaster and Western?

I can’t seem to find out. Did you get an email confirming your acceptance?
