I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
When do McMaster, Queen's and U of Toronto start sending theirs out? I've got an offer for a full four-year program from uOttawa. It was my back up in case everything else fails, but I'd rather spend two years at school instead of four.
I currently go to Carleton so my GPA is currently an 11.66 out of 12, which is somewhere around a 3.9-4.0. I also took my prereqs through a different school, so I'm not sure what my overall GPA would be including those!

Does anyone know when we get our casper quartile results if we wrote it on March 1st?
I think it’s 4 weeks after. They have the results already sent out so between that and what I’ve seen in the past, it’ll probably exactly or very close to 4 weeks after test day!

Yes I received an email and it also showed up on my SOLUS! Yes, the offer is conditional. I just need to maintain a 2.7 GPA, submit my final grades by June 15th, and successfully complete the courses I am taking now!

For those that did the March 1 Casper and applied to McMaster, does your portal show that they have received the results yet? Mine says “awaiting” and I’m just a little stressed because the other schools I applied to have received it already.

Mine shows this too! They should have it by now (2-3 weeks post test) but it is likely the case that they’ve just been slow to update our applicant portals. I wouldn’t worry too much!
