Only do the course if you are sure you are going to get a work permit. Remember nursing is on the shortage list but only nurse specialists in OR, neonatal ICY and operating department practitioner and even then with high unemployment in the UK and skilled workers now being capped the likelihood on obtaining a work permit is hard
Thank you so much for your reply. Yeah! The agency said I can have a work permit for as long as I can pass all the requirements. Hope I could! Thanks again!

Please bear in mind that it's not recruitment agencies that issue work visas but the borders agency (immigration service)
The agency may not have the authority to give you a permit, you'd be better asking the borders agency if you meet their criteria
Hi! im a nurse here in the Philippines and I already hold a valid NMC decion letter. I'am going to the UK as a student by next month because I want to take some post grad course. I would like to ask if I can take the ONP also because I have the work experience as a NICU nurse for about 3 years already and I believe that it is one of the shortage occupation for nurses? Would that be possible?
