Only two left... LS3 then LS2 in the next 2.5 weeks.

I successfully completed LS1 today, and will be doing 3 next week then 2 the week after. I am pretty confident in my ability to pass 2, just need any pointers anyone has for 3.

I couldn't have made it this far without all of you as inspiration, motivation, and just someone to share with as we work on the common goal. No one else understands the demands of this program. I plan to be CPNE eligible within the next three weeks.

MsPc, Congrats!!!! I am hoping to be FCCA eligible in three weeks. On my last one now LS3. I so agree with you. I know for a fact I would not push myself as hard as I do if this site did not exist. You all make me want to do well. When you hear good things it makes you want to do better. Where I work ,many LPNs are going back to school through a community college. I have noone to relate to, a few think its too much of a gamble to go this route.. I do not have the time to sit in a classroom. This is the only way for me to get my RN. Alot of us will finish at the same time.:D

MsPc, In two and a half weeks two LS tests??,, I read your post thinking how great that you passed LS1!!..But to take LS(2 of them)I wanted to say you rock!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I didn't put in in my first post. Your goal is fantastic!!!

Thanks. I took LS2 the first time a week and a half ago and didn't pass due to one area only so I'm only really reviewing for LS2 and learning a patch of information that I missed on the previous exam. I am pretty much spending most of my time preparing for the LS3 exam after I do Sociology tomorrow morning. I am doing the sociology clep. I hope I make the mailed FCCA deadline.

MsPC, congrats on passing LS1! Good luck on your next three exams! LS2 was a beast, LS3 in comparison wasn't nearly as bad!!! Let me know how the Sociology CLEP was.

I asked my advisor again about the FCCA being at Pearson.... she said maybe November now. I don't think they are sure when it's gonna happen. I am shooting to be eligible next month just to be on the safe side too.

It would be cool if some of us took the CPNE together... I am praying WestPalmLPN and I will be together for sure, she and I keep each other on track.. we work @ the same hospital, but it would be awesome to meet the rest of my "classmates" and take the last step together :-)

I am trying to do the same thing! When is the last day for FCCA to mail it in?... I took Sociology clep, that was not bad. You will do great tomorrow! Boy you are on a roll!!..lol:)

Where are you trying to do your CPNE beachie? I want to do mine in New York, and I am hoping to do it mid to late June. I'm on orders next month or I would be hoping to do it at the end of may/beginning of June.

Thanks for sharing the info about the FCCA, on my payment page it talked about being on the computer so I got scared.

I am going to put in for the Southern region, I am hoping for Naples, FL as my first choice and then I guess Savannah or Atlanta if Naples is not available. New York is just too far away, LOL! We are in south Florida, where do you live?

I should be CPNE eligible by June, but I want to give myself atleast 6 weeks to study, so maybe August will be my ready date if all goes well. I am so terrifed of this test after reading the one student failing for not documenting intact nasal skin! The thing for me is that I am a nurse in an acute care unit, I do assessments daily, and I have my system down to what works for me, which is full of bad habits. I am going to have to really take a good look at my routine and get in the habit of doing things the EC way. I am trying to remind my coworkers if they see me enter a room and not gelling my hands and asking to see an ID band to kick me!!!

I am done w/the nursing classes. I am taking Life Span Development on 4/26, and Sociology CLEP on 5/10, that will make me eligible for the FCCA and CPNE. I have A&P scheduled for 6/7 while I chip away my wait time for the CPNE and I am planning to focus on Micro after I pass the CPNE.... hoping to be an RN by October or November.

Just hoping I can come up with the $$ to take all my CPNE... I'm running out. :-(

YES... it will be soooo nice if we can do CPNE together, I am so glad we met you motivated me don't think I would be this far without your encouragements and all the nice posts listed here....LOVE YOU ALL.....

Can't wait for us to meet @ Barnes & start studying for the board, I know I am getting ahead of myself... trying to stay positive this damn ls2 driving nuts lol

I am taking Micro online and it's an 8 week course with lab, I am also doing A&PI online but I think if that is the only thing I have left I will try to do the straighterline A&P I and II. I might knock them out while I am on orders since I won't have too much to do during the day so I'm just doing my CPNE.

The boards should be a cinch after the Excelsior program. I am currently using the 4th edition Saunders so I'm going to get the 5th edition just for the extra study.

You should come to Florida!! It's too cold in NY :-)

I was thinking the same thing about the boards... I have read my Saunders from cover to cover already... and after the Excelsior tests the NCLEX style questions are 2nd nature! My Pearson Vue staff knows me so well already, it's like I have my own personal Pearson cheerleaders :-)
