Hello everyone,
I am starting this thread for the nursing applicants for the Spring 2018 BSN program at JU. This is a great way for us to network and keep helpful information to help our fellow students. I have an Associates Degree in Nursing from a ACEN accrediated school and I am a registered nurse working at a local hospital. I work full-time that's why I am opting to do their online program. I have heard great things from past students so far.
Tuition is a bit expensive...as of today 10/18/17 its $485 per credit hour but I think it will be well worth it. Their program have 8 week in length courses that starts 6 times per year. Its very flexable, no mandatory log in times, pre-recorded lectures that you can watch over and over and I like the fact that it is 100% online.
Any pass students want to chime in and let me know what your experience was like. Thank You!
So....$485 per credit hour and there are a max of 32 credit hour for the BSN Core so total tuition averages around $15,520 before books. Books are probably about $600-$900 new...and you can purchase them used from pass students if its the same edition.

Hey there, jklstrive...how are you doing in the program so far? I started in the spring 1 term with 2 classes...I really like it so far. Not that the work is overwhelmingly too hard, but for me it has been time consuming. I've had to go PRN at my job because I have 2 small children at home, and it was becoming a little hard to keep up with the curriculum, working those full time 12-hr shifts and care for my babies. I'm a little apprehensive about this assessment and pathophysiology course that I'm about to start on Monday, but oh well, it has to be done! Let me know how you're doing!
