If you are attending college, you should be able to get your schools ID validated by library staff to conduct CINAHL searches for free including downloads.
Here are some links that have Journal articles on line.
Nursing center.com-home site of Lippencott publishers.
http://www.nursingcenter.com/journals/index.cfm
Free from ANA and Kent State UniversityCollege of Nursing:
Online Journal of Issues in Nursing(OJIN)

Electronic Publishing:How, What and Why? Finding electronic information

You can also do search with a metasearch engine like
http://www.dogpile.com.
http://www.monstercrawler.com
http://www.metaeureka.com/
http://www.pandia.com/
I am a novice at this myself. Hope this helps. Karen
