Nursing Students School Programs

I just submitted my application to this program and I'm hoping for the best. Anyone else here applying?

My prereqs are still pending verification on the UCF app too. Everything else is green :)

My prereqs are also still pending verification on the UCF app also. Everything else is green. Praying we all get accepted!!

My Valencia Application still says "Incomplete". I called both the business office and the Health Sciences Department yesterday and I still don't have confirmation that my application was received. :( What should I do?

Sorry, I'm a little confused, what do you mean by it says "incomplete?" When I go to the health sciences application all it says is application submitted. I'm not sure if I need to be looking somewhere else or if this is what you mean.

If this is what you mean, I'd march into the office and raise hell. I mean, not really bc you catch more flies with honey, blah blah blah. But they're screwing with your future career so it definitely requires a stern talking to someone. I really hope you get it figured out!

Yes, where it should say "submitted" it says incomplete. "Please choose your payment option". I paid May 4th, transaction posted to my checking account May 5th. I stood in the health science office for over an hour on Monday and was told that it would take 24 hours for my status to be updated, and that there was a technical difficulty. I called again yesterday and left a message for health sciences. Then called the business office again and they've done all that they can. Today I emailed the department and I also called atlas technical support myself. Should I go into the advising office again?

I'm just afraid my application will slip through the cracks without anyone noticing until it's too late to even be considered for the program.

Yes, I'd print out your bank info showing it posted, as well as explain what you were told by the business office. I'd rather be seen as a bit of a nuisance than let my application fall through the cracks. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this at an already stressful time! Hope you get some answers!!

Thanks ajr06d. I spoke with the dept. office manager and she said she'd look into it tomorrow. I'm hopeful it will all be resolved soon.

Update: as I understand, the health sciences office staff put my application through manually because the atlas system wouldn't allow them to submit it for some reason. Either way, I was assured that it's definitely there despite Atlas saying it's not.

Thank God!

Now I can anxiously sit back and wait for mid-June like the rest of you! :)

That's fantastic news! And now we wait! :)

Is this the only program you guys have applied to? I applied to UCF's traditional program in Feb-- no such luck. I knew my stats weren't quite as competitive as they needed to be for it then but I figured I'd give it a shot. The concurrent is the program I've had my eyes on since I began working on my prereqs. I also applied to the traditional nursing program at Valencia last week.

Here are my stats for any future applicants who might be curious:

TEAS: 86.7

Cumulative GPA (VCC & UCF): 3.71

Science prereq: 3.5

Non-science prereq: 4.0

VC/UCF is the only program I applied to. I was going to try SSC/UCF but had an issue with my AP English scores not making it in time, so I didn't even bother bringing my application to SSC campus. I'm looking into as well, their program is online, and the clinicals take place in Daytona. I feel like it doesn't hurt to have one more option.
