Master's Entry Program in Nursing

This would be there first cohort. I remember looking at this page about 3 weeks ago and the application was closed. Im surprised they opened it so soon and have a quick deadline coning up (Feb 1). I already applied to programs but could definitely use a back up since I live in the bay area. I just dont know if I can make that deadline (as far as LORs)

Hi I'm applying to the nursing program too. Only 24 students, thats sounds really competitive.

I emailed the admission person named Amanda, and this is what she emailed me Applicants must meet each of our admissions requirements in order to be guaranteed a review by our admissions committee. This 3.0 GPA requirements is set by the University of California office of the president and is effect for all graduate progress within the UC system. But I feel like you should still apply, because when I talked to he front desk person, she said the office of the presidents would like applicants to have a 3.0 but since this is the first year some applicants have got into the programs with a lower gap because they came from different programs and the dean wrote a letter to the office of the president applicants.

Did you apply yet?

I JUST SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION! Good luck to everyone! Now the waiting begins....

So glad I was able to get my application in, even if I did find out about the program way last minute.

Just want to wish you all the best...Either way, I hope we all get into the school of our dreams. I know we all work/ed so hard to get even this far.

Just got an email back from them and they said we will all be notified of a decision by April! Hopefully we hear sooner rather than later. Good luck to all who have applied!

Goodluck to everyone applying this year, hope you all hear back soon. Seems like such a promising program. Hoping to apply for the next cohort!

by April? When did you get the email?

by April? When did you get the email?

I e-mailed the general Betty Irene Moore SON e-mail on February 9th asking when we'll be notified, and they responded that same day saying "Applicants will be notified by April."

Thank you because I didn't know that. On the website, it said March, so this was the month I thought we will get notified if we get accepted or not to the program.

No problem! I also saw that on the website, so with their response, I can only assume that we will be notified before or by April 1st. I'd like for us to hear by Mid March, but being that we are the first applicants, it'll be hard to tell... Does anyone know how many applicants there were for the priority deadline?

Would anyone be so kind and post their stats. Thank you!
