I just submitted my application for TWU Fall 2017 Weekend/Evening Program! I was rejected for Spring 2017 and I know my chances are slim but I figured I might as well try again. I have a 3.73 GPA, scored an 86 on the TEAS, and do not have a previous degree. I am currently taking pathophysiology and plan to work on classes I need for UTA's nursing program in the spring. Best of luck to you!

Hello, JADN. Good luck to you too. I heard that it has been very competitive lately.
Awesome stats mmorris12! I hope to see you in the Fall.
When I spoke with TWU I was told that for the last admissions cycle (Fall 2016 weekend/evening) the points range was:
Lowest Accepted: 36.4
Highest Accepted: 66.0
I hope this gives everyone an idea of where they should be to be safe for acceptance.

Hello Everyone! I'm starting this page for those of you applying next February for the Texas Woman's University Fall 2017 Weekend/Evening program. I've searched and searched for a thread for this particular program and I haven't been able to find one yet. I am hoping that we can all come together on this page for support and camaraderie.
I am currently studying to finish up my prerequisites. This semester I am taking statistics, psych lifespan and development, Intro to literature and A&P I. As of right now, I will come out with a 4.0 for the semester. I will then only have A&P II and Micro left and if I get As there I will have a 4.0 for my science GPA. I plan on taking the TEAS V in December but I want to begin studying in August. (There is a new version coming out then so I've decided to wait for that. Calculators will be allowed during testing.) I'm shooting for a 90 or above composite score. From reading other threads on this forum, I have gathered that TWU is very competitive.
A little about me: I work full time as a Business Analyst at Samsung Electronics. Nursing will be my third, and hopefully final, career change. Prior to Samsung I was in the Navy. I have been working on my prereqs for the past year and a half and it has all felt very rewarding. I can't wait to start nursing school and continue this journey into my new life as an RN.
I hope to hear from some other 2017 hopefuls so we can continue this journey together. If you are a traditional program hopeful, feel free to post here as well. I have done some very in depth research on entrance requirements so I if you have questions for me feel free to ask. I'm sure I have an answer.
