Hello! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for Prairie View Spring 2019 yet?

When I called last week, Dr. Smith said acceptances should go out towards the end of October.

I read last years Spring 2018 forum and it seemed that everyone got their acceptances in the first full week of November, so I'm expecting to hear from PV between Nov 5, 2018 and Nov 9, 2018.
We're finally in October so we are getting closer.
Did anyone receive the email in regards to the immunizations that we will need for the program?

At first, I thought it was the one. lol! Its good to know that we are getting closer plus it helps so we can go ahead and be prepared once decisions are made.

Yes. I applied to Sam Houston's nursing school as well and we had to turn in our shots to even be considered for admission. You should already have your shots if you went to grade school in Texas. The only exceptions would be TDap and TB, most of you will only need to get those. I just happened to get my TDap last year because I was pregnant. My suggestion to you guys would be to get your Hep B and Varicella titers asap. Because even if you have those shots, you still might not be immune to it, and if you aren't, the series of 3 shots takes anywhere from 3-6 months to complete. You also have to wait a month after you complete any shots to get your titers drawn. So yeah, get your titers drawn asap if you have the ability!

So just to clarify... the email about immunizations is just a heads up correct? We don't need to email her back that information?
I did not receive it either.
Where are we supposed to submit the blood titers??
I believe that is what will be need IF accepted.
