I just received an email saying that direct entry applications are in the review process and that decisions would be emailed out by the beginning of Feb. Did anyone else receive this email?
I got that, too. Does anyone know if they conduct interviews?

I believe the psych track is the only specialty that conducts interviews.

Bala, I got the email back at the end of December letting me know which prerequisites I am missing (just patho) and when decisions will be out.
I am so anxious to hear back guys! I applied for PMHNP and BC is my first choice! 4 more weeks...
Has anyone who applied to PMHNP gotten an interview? It looks like from last years thread only some of the PMHNP entrants had one. Fingers crossed for good news either way!

The psych track has conducted interviews in the past, but last year they did not. At the open house, I was told they may conduct them this year for psych but no definite.
All other specialties won't interview.

Is anybody pending completion of two prerequisites? I have to take A&P II but also am required to re-take Microbiology (will do so online) since my course has expired. The email that I received on 12/21 also didn't indicate which prereqs I am missing so I wonder if this is a bad sign-it just stated to submit transcripts. This wait feels so long!!
I'm missing pathophysiology, but my email on 12/21 didn't say anything about that either. Hoping that's not a bad sign!
I'm also pending completion of a few prereqs! Hoping this doesn't count against me too much.
Decisions will be posted in early Feb!! Good luck everyone :)
I think the fact that you are re-taking microbiology bodes well for you. The program will still see that you already mastered the material once. I don't think having a couple prerequisites would "make or break you." I believe I read that it is preferred that only a couple of the "hard science" prerequisites are remaining, but the application process for BC's program seems very holistic!
