I have a question I was going through some family issues and I ended up not passing two of my classes (both by less than one percent) after crying and begging I got nowhere so here I am kicked out of my nursing school as I'm about to enter my senior year.DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY NURSING PROGRAMS THAT ARE ONLINE THAT DO NOT RECQUIRE HAVING YOUR RN FIRST?
Are you an LPN by any chance? There are a few online LPN to RN programs out there.
Clinical classes don't transfer unless it's within a pre-determined 'ladder' program (ex: LPN-ADN-BSN) that's part of a collaborative agreement between schools. Most schools won't consider anyone who has already failed out of a nursing program. If you can get accepted, your best hope with a new program is to have some sort of "CLEP" process that would let you test out of some of the content, but you'd undoubtedly have to repeat a lot of clinical coursework. Are you in a state that would allow you to sit for NCLEX-PN? If so, that may be an option because later on, you could go through a bridge program to an RN.
