Online MSN?

Specialties Educators

Published

I'm starting an online MSN program next week at Walden University with a specialization in Nursing Education. Any other online MSN-ers out there? What about Walden? Any others?

Specializes in ER, Teaching, HH, CM, QC, OB, LTC.

Sadie Ladie,

Classes are going well. I'm in my 6th class. Like any program some instructors are better at thier jobs than others. However, NONE of the instructors I've had so far did not or could not do thier jobs. Feed back from questions for me has never been longer than 36 hours, usually less than a day. Email is faster than discussion board. Grades are posted in 5 to 7 days they say, but it is usually closer to 5 than 7.

I am not a strong student so I spend serveral hours per night for one class. It has been a rare week that there has not been a written assignment to be graded and a discussion on the boards going about readings or article reviews.....

I have really enjoyed most all of it!

Best of luck,

fgoff

Thanks,

I'm tentatively enrolled for January to take Theory/Advanced Practice the first 8 weeks and the community health course (for the bridge) the second 8 weeks. I'm still looking at other programs but wanted to get started. I'm leaning towards the Community Health Track

"I just happened upon the Mansfield University online MSN in Nursing Education. Anyone know of them? I had never even heard of that school."

I graduated from Mansfield with my BS (non-nursing degree) back in 1995. It's a small rural state college in Tioga County Pa. They had a good BSN program when I went there. I had a very positive experience at Mansfield but I don't know any details about their online MSN program.
