online microbiology class

I need an online microbiology class this summer and can't seem to find any that do not cost a fortune. It has to be 4 credits and have a lab. Any suggestions?

Check out Edukan.org. They have microbio which is 5 credits including a lab for 625. However, some sections have only a "virtual lab" and some sections require you to find a physical lab with instructor that you can use for exercises. I would be super cautious doing micro without any sort of actual lab experience and it may not be accepted by your program. That said it is cheap and convenient...

Seconding Cayuga- you do have to buy the lab materials ($270) plus pay for the credits, but the Prof. is super communicative. I haven't started the class yet (starts next month) but the professor has been very helpful and suggested I split the cost of the lab materials with my friend (also taking the class) and told us to do the labs together. You will need access to a microscope, too, or you can buy one.

New Mexico Junior college in Hobbs, NM that class is 4 hours and the lab is 1 it is like 300 tuition plus your book. Class starts may 24 NMJC.com is the website.

Ocean County Community College out of NJ has one - my hubby took it last fall. Total cost including lab kit was probably around $1000 - $1500.

Did you go to NMJC, I heard some have problems transfering Micorbio credits?

Did you take any classes there, which ones? How did you do?

Are you in RN school now? Where did you apply/accepted?

Finsters, How did your husband like the class at Ocean. Besides the 1500 investmentt did everything work out good? Any sugeestions?

you sure you want to take it online??

i would recommend not taking ANY science courses online.. that lab pretty much needs to be done on campus.
