Online BSN but I have pain when I walk.

Published

I have pain when I walk. I've been diagnosed with plantaf fasciitis. I'd really like to go to school again but it's hard because of my pain. Does anyone know on where I can get an online BSN that doesn't require any clinical because my condition doesn't allow for much walking. Thanks.

And if It's not too much problem, can I ask you all to please pray that I be cured of my painful feet. I'm 24 years old, and I can't walk without pain =(.

Thanks again...

Hi!

I have my ASN, and I currently am attending Excelsior college (www.excelsior.edu) for my BSN. I am currently doing some of the pre-requisits. As far as I know, for the nursing portion there are no real 'clinicals', I think you have to teach a community, or at least form a lesson plan (not sure exactly how that course is done, as they recently changed it), and you have to shadow a manager for a set number of hours, which you would set up with a manager in your area. If you can't walk for very long, a) your with a manager, and b) you could do shorter hours instead of a whole shift, again as far as I now. I am not in the nursing classes yet, but I suggest you check out their website. They offer online courses, and credits by examination (you study for a test and take it and get however many credits the course is worth).

I'm also doing www.excelsior.edu. But I'm doing the RN.

I had the beginnings of PF and bought a pair of Birkenstocks, which stopped it. It might be worth a shot. They're hideous, but comfortable once you break them in. In factr, I won't wear anything else.
