Keep in mind that prerequisites are there for a reason. If you don't have a solid understanding of basics, you are set up to fail in the higher level class.

Keep looking for that easy short cut. It almost always end in ditch

Make sure that your potential schools accept online labs. Only one school I plan to apply to accepts them - no matter where they're from.

Just to throw my two cents in, I wound up using a lot of my general biology in my A&P class, so I would recommend biting the bullet and taking the prereq. My adviser told us there is no way of schools knowing if we took our classes online or not... Our transcripts look identical regardless of whether we took a class online or on campus.

Good thing I took that easy shortcut and got an A in the ONLINE class with lab (at home dissections, etc)! Oh, and my nursing school accepts the program credits. Thanks for the well wishes though!

I'm glad you did so well in the class! I don't think I would have been able to do so well without taking any other science classes beforehand. Keep up the excellent work! :)

Where did you find this class online?

My school does accept them, but the actual transcript does not specify that these classes were online.
