Online Acute Care NP Programs

Published

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding online AG-ACNP programs? I am a nurse in central Texas and would like to stay here and go the online route. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in SC and will be starting with the University of South Carolina in the Fall. They do have some campus visits, but classes are online and clinicals can be done in your area. You can also look into University of South Alabama(this is an EXTREMELY popular school on allnurses, you'll find tons of threads on it).

I don't know many Texas schools. However, I finished my BSN online through University of Texas at Arlington. They have an AGACNP program. Their BSN program was really good, and the instructors were all very helpful. Had it been more feasible for me, I would've applied to them.

Thank you for the quick response!! I will look at those schools :)

George Washington university in DC has one but does require you to go on campus 3 times during the program. It is also ~$90k.

Have you checked out UTMB Galveston? I know you have to go on campus every couple of months but a lot of it is online.
