My one year anniversary has come and past now. I've been a nurse for one year and I can't even comprehend how much I have learned and grown.
I work in at a busy Adult Emergency Dept. that has over 100,000 visits per year. I've experienced so much and every day it seems something new comes through the door. I'm very thankful I had/have such a supportive team around me that took me under their wing and have given me the tools and confidence to deal with numerous situations.
This year has come and gone so fast. For anyone that is where I was one year ago...good luck to you, embrace the world of nursing and keep on laughing and smiling. It's all been worth it!

Congrats to you! I've just finished my first year, too! I've grown a lot, but I still ask many questions. It's fortunate to find a good team to work with right out of school! :)
