On the Way To the Application Meeting WCCCD

Published

To those of you have already completed the pre req's and co-req's the next application meeting is the week of AUG 18 at the new campus @ 5:30p

We are supposed to bring documentation to the meeting (stated on the criteria), Don't forget to have your essay "Why I want to be a Nurse" and "How you forsee nursing in the future".

After the application process, what happens??????

Just curious, i want to take additional classes but don't want a conflict of schedule.

Thanks,

I'm currently taking online classes, but am usually at Western and Downriver. I haven't seen the new campus - I hope it's awesome!

Both the new/old NW campus is only 3 or 4 miles from my house...NICE!

Anyone else had the pleasure of looking through its halls?

We went by the New NW campus after the application meeting and they had the entrances blocked off. It wasn't open for students yet. To us, it didnt even look like it would be ready by Fall unless they really kick butt. I think it is going to be very cool because they are designating a whole building to the allied health careers.

Sharazed, if it is open when you go there, let us know. I would love to take a tour as well.

So the new campus isn't even open yet>? Love how students at NW lie! Some say they are already taking classes there. If i sign on the med math in the fall wonder where it will be. I've already checked with the downriver and they claim to only have pre-req's. Don't really want to go to downtown...i happen to like my car and have heard alot of cars come up missing. Bellville is way to far for me if i had to go out there might as well move to my aunts.:bluecry1: Not happening. She is a bit to old fashion and a organic and naturalist freak! I remember growing up with her it was fun but you know how you go to places for a visit but not to live there. Well that's one of those.:chuckle

Well, we went by there after the application meeting on May 19th which was the first day of classes and the entrances were blocked off. There was one that was opened which had a security guard there, but there were no cars in the parking lot except for a big blue cargo van. They could be taking classes there, just not on that day. It didn't look read to me. The only two campuses that offer the nursing classes is the Northwest campus and the Western campus. Look in the schedule book, you will see which campuses offer Nursing classes. Downtown, Downriver and Eastern DO NOT have nursing classes.

I know those naturalist type...LOL I am one of those freaks!... No offense taken, just thought it was funny. Needless to say, Northwest is probably your best bet then. Western is closest to me and that is my first choice, however, Northwest is fine with me too.
