On pins and needles...

Published

Hi everyone, first-time poster here. I took the NCLEX this past Monday 3/22 and am in one of the states that doesn't offer quick results (HI). I've managed to stay pretty calm up until now, and am realizing how excruciating the waiting is... I called my BON this morning and asked how long the wait time was (between sitting for boards and issuance of license or letter of failure), and the lady proceeded to get my name. Apparently she looked me up, paused (seemed like an eternity), and then she says, "You'll have to wait to get your results in the mail." I didn't know how to take that. If you passed, wouldn't they typically give you your license # over the phone? Anyway, I was too flustered to ask if the results were in at all, and am too scared to call back. Maybe I'll gather up the courage tomorrow. Ugh. This is torture.

Thanks for listening.

p.s. My test shut off at 75Q.

Janda, knowing how I am I would probably call back and find out if my results were in and if they can please give them to me over the phone. If they can't ask how long will it take for notification.

I'm believing that March 22nd was a good day. I took mine that day, Mandy did too (see her post), two of my classmates and we all passed. I want you with us too! I was so sure I failed while I was still taking the exam that I made myself crazy until I found out. Pray and have confidence in yourself.

I wish you the best. By the way, I also had 75 questions.

Let us know what happens.

75 is a REALLLY good sign. Very few people fail at 75. Call again, get a more definate answer. GOod luck and keep us posted.

Just checked my mail and got the letter saying I passed. I can enjoy the weekend now! :rotfl:

Thanks guys!
