hey all.......just needed a little support from those of you who feel my stress. well 6 weeks left in my lpn prog. oh my how the stress has piled on. it seems unrelenting and besides that all the what if's......what if i fail/what if this/ what if that. should i just scream now or what? lol.......anyone else here close to grad? interested in hearing your views.

The last semester was as bad as the first! I kept thinking they would lighten up on us a bit...wrong. Just keep your head tucked and your back to the wind. It is almost done and will go by really quickly.

I feel ur pain, i have about 7 weeks left to the end of my program, we graduate in early jan. where u grad from? we have all clinicals until the end, but it doesnt make it easier lol 1-10pm mon-friday, at a hospital on the telemetry floor, but i am learning so much. I am just really nervous about the NCLEX, like what books to study from and such. let me know what your studying from thanks! try to relax on the weekends if you can! :typing kyle:wink2:

Yeah, I hope to graduate in early Dec., so I completely understand. An extra day of clinicals and 96 hours of precepting added to class,...n-i-c-e. It's just one day at a time of giving it my best and having faith.
A friend of mine in NS and myself recently had a conversation about a former student we were friends with who'd failed summer semester. This student worked full-time, and struggled first and second semesters. We want her to get back into the program and finish, but we both agreed that it was a gift in disguise that she dropped out when she did-if she couldn't handle the early stuff, no way could she take this. At least she has time to prepare for this semester now, and we can warn her to set her self up to devote to school.
