Old Edition of Physical Examination book?

I just received my acceptance letter in the mail last week! Since then I've been reading all the threads about new editions vs old editions, but I have a few specific books and classes that I'd like to ask about.

Mosby's Guide to Physical Examination, 7e is required

Would buying the 6th edition be unwise?

I'm of course buying all the new editions of the drug and pharmacology books.

Also, will I need my stats book again? Because I'd really like to rent that one considering it's $130 cheaper to do so.

If you want to save money, don't ever buy anything new. You can find new books used on ebay or half.com.

With physical assessment you shouldn't have any problems at all, other than different page numbers for reading assignments.

I would buy a relatively up to date pharm book.
