I'm trying to finish my prereqs or be eligible to apply for BADNAP 2015. Anyone else? I'm hoping to connect with a few people now so we can go through the process alongside others.

Hi!!! I plan to apply for 2015 as well. Currently I am studying for the teas.

That's awesome! I have the study guide, and am studying, as well. Have you taken all of the prereqs already?

Yes, I have all my prereqs completed. Just busy studying.

Hi!!!

I am also applying to the BADNAP 2015 program. I have all my pre-reqs finished. But I still need to take the TEAS. I would love if you posted some tips or info for the TEAS! :)

I am so excited about starting nursing school (hopefully).

I am also applying. I have all of my prerequisites as long as one of my classes transfers properly. Where do I get a study guide for TEAS? Thanks!

Hello!

I am currently taking prereqs before applying to nursing schools, and I am curious if any of you are applying to the ABSN program at OU, as well. I am just trying to get a handle on all the options for students who already have a bachelor's. What draws you to this BADNAP program over the ABSN program? Thanks!

Hello,

I heard the ATI Study Guide is helpful. They also have practice tests for sale. Also, if you make an account now with ATI it will make it easier when you take the test, assuming you take it online. TEAS V Study Guide | TEAS Study Manual | ATI Hope that helps. Good luck!

I'm planning on being in the BADNAP program in 2015-2016. I'm finishing up my last two prereqs right now (Fall semester), and then will get my application turned in the first part of January. I'm also signed up to take the TEAS test on Dec. 16.

Has anyone been able to talk with someone who's previously been through the program? I'd just like to know as much as possible about what I'm getting myself into. :-)

Is anyone planning on getting their CPR certification this spring? If so, where are you getting it from?

I took the TEAS test and it asked about naming carbon compounds. I didn't think this was even something nurses studied in Chemistry? I learned about it in Organic Chemistry, but I just took that for fun to fill up my schedule. I thought it was a strange test. I got a 79 level 2.

Truckinusa, I didn't get a question like that, that I recall. I took it last month and got a good score (sigh of relief!).
