OKLAHOMA CNA certification with a petty theft reduced to disorderly conduct charge?

Published

Hi, I'm about to take my state test for my CNA certification. I got through class and clinical just fine. I'm 20 years old and I'm a pre-nursing student. I did something really stupid and got caught shoplifting at Target when I was 18. I was arrested and fingerprinted. I think about it every day and I cannot believe I made this mistake because it is so unlike me to break the law.

My charge was reduced to disorderly conduct, though, and I haven't gotten into any trouble since. But I guess I still have a criminal record technically :(

Am I even able to get my CNA certification with this record? I'm really worried that they will deny me when I go to take my test, even though I passed through the whole class with flying colors.

I live in Oklahoma by the way!
