Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I would like your honest opinons please, here are my stats,

GPA 3.67 after taking all prereqs. I got an A in all of them except for my AP1 class I got an F then retook it and got an A. My school averages both grades which will now be a C. Should I retake a third time?

So... what are my chances of being accepted into the program with a 3.67 and 90% on the TEAS. These are the only criteria that my school looks at.

Be honest..thanks

It depends on the gpa and test scores of the other applicants. In my school, I think you'd get in with a 90% and a 3.67 gpa.

Thanks for all of your responses.

You're in good shape, Jazzy. I would hope that any school worth anything would see the F as an aberration on the record of an excellent student.

Depends on the school, I guess. At my school you would be in, no problem, but I read a couple people posting they didn't get in with 3.8 or 3.9 (can't remember the schools, though)

Apply. Your odds are good.

Like everyone said, you chances are dependent on the applicant pool. Just for the sake of comparison, one of the CA state university BSN program that I was accepted into had 3.85 as the average GPA & 89.5 as the average TEAS score (about 500 applicants & 70 were accepted initially). If you take into account that some accepted applicants will reject their offer and their spots will be replaced with alternates, the average GPA & TEAS score might be slightly lower. Therefore I think your odds are pretty good. If you can, apply to multiple schools to better your chances & good luck!
