Anyone taking Community Health online with OU RN to BSN program that starts 2/18/13? Would like to start a thread for support. Have used this site in past and appreciated having others to share / support.
Huh, so far this class has not been too bad. I am wondering for week four- can we choose any vulnerable population? Or do I have to choose between the homeless, disabled or domestic violence victims? I am leaning towards any and writing about the elderly population. What's everyone else doing?

Never make assumptions about what is wanted because it may differ from TA to TA. This is why I never turn in anything early in the week even if it is done. I have seen too many classes where directions change from the time an assignment was given until the due date.
Week 5 here we come. Only 2 DB posts this week. We got this!
Yes we got this!! I am so ready to have this class over. For some reason I have found this class more overwhelming than the others I have taken. Guess because of the strict grading techniques used by this TA. Anyone taking Nutr 1000 the next 5 weeks?

RNmom,
I took NUT1000 as my first class last Fall. Prof H was great! Huge amount of information, but well organized, with clear instructions & assignments correlate with reading materials- Imagine that! Tip someone gave me- USE the workbook in the back of the textbook. The online study guide just seemed to confuse everyone, and was not reflective of materials found on tests, etc. Anyone have any ideas for simplest/quickest/least painful way to take Chemistry? I've written to my alleged advisor twice, in the past two months, asking for assistance, and haven't even gotten a reply! Press on everyone! We've almost got this one done!

Call the nursing office and check to make sure about your advisor. Mine changed again. This is either number 5 or 6 for me. I've lost count. I'm not sure if they are flipping a coin to see who gets stuck with me or if I'm an official member of the advisor of the week club;-). Let the nursing office know you are not getting a response and have questions that need to be addressed. Good luck!

I am trying to decide when to take statistics. Am somewhat intimidated about the 5 week class thru OU but not willing to do locally for a full semester. Have read comments on here. Any more input? How about which professor? Have seen high recommendations for ******. What about ***** or *******? Only classes with ******* and ******** are available next few sessions. Should I wait for ******* although thus far uncertain if she will be available in fall. No one can tell me when fall classes will be listed. Has anyone had one of those instructors? Helpful hints? Also, anyone know anything about global health? Debating it. Thanks!
