Does OU only allow people from 5 states?

I have been researching Rn-BSN options and OU seems to be rated pretty highly compared to others. I was just reading on their eligibility page, and it states

"You may apply directly to the RN-to-BSN program if you meet the following conditions:

• You reside in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia *" ...
  

Is this correct? I feel like I've seen on this form that others from states other than these are in the program. I live in VA, but am licensed in DC. Anyone have any info? ( the starred reference note at the end stated to check back for other states in the future.)

I'm not sure all of the states accepted, but I know recently Ohio U had to add a clinical component (it's an indirect type of clinical project) to meet accreditation guidelines, so I'm thinking that may have something to do with what states are allowed. I'm not totally sure though. Hope it works out for you!

I am in New York, and they changed it shortly after I got in. Don't know if they changed it, but would email them and ask them.

I think they did change it recently. I never noticed it before when I was researching the program back in the day. Which ultimately it is a bit silly because I don't think anyone cares where you get your BSN from if it is CCNE accredited and you're licensed in their state.

Yes there apparently seems to be a change going on with online programs. I have noticed several MSN programs not offering their programs to Pennsylvania students. However, I think it's just new requirements going into effect and it won't be permanent. I had called one program and they had mentioned that they were working on the paperwork to get affiliated with PA and the other states.
