Hi, is there a difference in tuition if I enroll in the academic outreach as opposed to the rn to bsn completion program? Also, do I need to take a math class before taking stats? I'm supposed to be starting classes in January but am having second thoughts bc my transfer credit eval is taking sooo long! Thanks so much!!!

Academic outreach I believe is partnered with a hospital

Yup, you have to be working at a member hospital for the Outreach. There is a list of member hosp. on the RN BSN Knowledge Center /Academic Outreach web page.

No you don't have to take a math class before Stats. Don't worry over it, I found it to be the best class I've taken so far. The prof is excellent, it is well organized and they have video of the lectures that you can watch over and over. If you don't understand something, the prof is very willing to help you and offer other resources. Check out the threads on this board for stats.

I didn't get my degree audit till way after I had started. I was a shock to see how many classes I had to take. If you read the earlier posts on the thread started by Chuckster, there is some good stuff in there about the degree audits.

good luck with what ever you decide.

That DARS report takes forever but they are generous with transfer credtis. I took stats elsewhere but best advice I heard was to take that course solo. Good luck!
