Relocating to Cleveland to work at Cleveland Clinic

U.S.A. Ohio

I'm looking for information of what neighborhoods are safe and which to stay away from and any suggestions for apartment complexes? I'm moving next month and don't know the area too well.

I'm looking to stay relatively close because the amount of snow makes me nervous to drive in (I'm from PA so I'm used to it but still nervous).

Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)

Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights are on the east side. Both have nice and bad areas. Stay away from E Cleveland, Collinwood, Glenville. There are a lot of apartments in downtown Cleveland that are decently priced. Little Italy is close and affordable as is University Heights. Lakewood isnt bad. Parma, Westlake, Avon/Avon Lake, N Royalton, are nice but a little more driving (mostly highway though).

How much are you looking to spend? What floor will you be working on?

I'm going to be on a cardiac unit. I'm looking to keep it at around 800 but I can stretch my budget to 850ish so I end up in a safer apartment complex. The problem I'm running into is finding safe with decent management. :( aaaannnd no parallel parking...I have never parallel parked in my life...I'm literally on apartment overload :wacky:

Nice! I have to call the clinic back in Nov regarding a PRN PCNA float pool position in J, maybe ill run into you one day haha.

Check out Crittenden Court. They might have a 1 bedroom in your range. I know they have their own garage.
