oh no crimal record......

oh no i am 3 units from graduating from my bach of nursing and because of a complete balls up over the posting of a letter.... i now have a criminal record !:crying2: I lost 13 pionts in 3 yrs - i beleived i was on a three month good behavior bond however hubby forgot to post letter..... so it turned out i was actually disquialified from driving for 3months, any one I was pulled over for a random breathe test and license test and .....the rest is history.

Now I am freaking out ..... I have just sent the new info to uni and waiting to see if I will be able to finish?????

Does any one out there have any idea if I will be ok?

Thankfully it is not for fruad, violence or drugs.....but still .....it is a record.

Any way just needed to cry , vent and freak out somewhere.

I'm pretty sure in your case that you will be fine to get your registration, like you have said its not for violence or anything like that. As long as when applying for your registration your honest and outline the circumstances leading to the conviction you should be fine. I know of one person that had a conviction for drink driving and they had no problem registering and i have heard of countless other stories were people have had convictions for other offence's and got their registration and graduated. Dont stress you will be fine.

I agree with achillies, don't worry your self it is only to see if you have charges for murder, Assault and Battery ect ect. You have no conviction,you will be just fine and good luck on completion of your degree.
