Officially a NP student

Published

I just finished orientation week for the BSN to DNP program at Loyola University in New Orleans:) I am officially an NP student for the next 3 years. There are 40 of us in my cohort and I am ready to roll and get this going! Good Luck to everyone else beginning the journey:up:

Yes, all of the faculty are DNP educated and very helpful and nice. You get everyone's email, office number, and cell number so you can call if you need to do so. The campus is beautiful and I loved it down there. So far the work is tough but I just keep plugging away. It will all be worth it in the end.

Congrats! I start a DNP program in a week, ready to get started!!

I was admitted to Loyola's BSN-DNP program back in December, and I've been trying to get in contact with a student currently in the program just to get some info and stuff. If someone could email me at [email protected], I'd greatly appreciate it!!

I want to chime in as a new NP student who just started clinicals. My preceptor is awesome, and the docs and PAs are willing to teach. I am so grateful. It occurred to me today that my clinicals (I'm in a rehab hospital) are similar to nursing school, but cooler and with much less urine. You have made a great choice. I can't wait to be an NP and precept students of my own!!! Good luck to all.

Hello I see you are starting next month at Loyola. I am as well and I look forward to meeting everyone. There is a Facebook page Loyola New Orleans BSN-DNP that you can join. It is not only people in the upcoming class but last years class also. I have learned so much just by chatting with them. Look forward to meeting you.
