ODU BSN Fall 2018

Once they send decision letters if I am not accepted I will try Sentara.The only thing that sucks is having to take the TEAS which I hear is more difficult than the Hesi.I'm also considering ODU's concurrent program with TCC, but I'd have to be accepted into TCC's nursing program first to even be considered.I'm an older student as well and just want to begin and end a program ASAP!lol!!

See I took the TEAS a few years back(fall 2016) and did better on that than on the HESI. But that's when I was going through A and P 2. The questions were more specific. That's what I was thinking as well as a path. I am the same way I am ready to start a program well hopefully we will know within the next 2 weeks!! So I can plan accordingly! But defiantly keep me updated and good luck!

I did most of my sciences a little over a year ago, so my memory of some of the information is gone with the wind.lol!! I really hope I don't have to take the TEAS but we shall see.Good luck to you as well and I'll keep you updated.

Oh my goodness, I have gotten so antsy over the last couple of days and the wait isn't making it any better.Have you talked to anyone at the school?

You too?! I am literally on freak out mode! I'm checking my mailbox like 2 times a day knowing they only come once! No, I haven't I really want to e-mail them or call and see if they have mailed them, but I don't want to be that one. I really just want to know! Have you talked to anyone else? I only have one girl in my class and she was part of the high school program and didn't even have to take the HESI.

I'm right there with you, I usually check before and after the mailman runs!lol!Aww man your classmate is lucky she didn't have to take the Hesi but atleast she gets to enjoy the wait with us.:)I actually called the school last Friday and was told that we should hear something by next week, but I'm not sure if she knew that the 1st was Sunday...hopefully we get them a few days early.Sorry for the random post but I was losing my mind!lol!!

Yeah I figured they would send them out this week early before registration opens. They need to post it on their website or something I'm sure they get plenty of emails and calls. I just know this waiting feels like it's dragging on! I am losing mine as well. I actually checked this post today and I've tried looking at my Leo online and degree works seeing if there has been any change anywhere. Lol still nothing...I'm glade I'm not the only one losing it over this. Everyone keeps asking me if I've heard yet. Which impacts it more! Hopeful for the next few days!!!

I actually thought that I was accepted because my unofficial ODU transcript said Nursing Program(without the words intended degree)hahahah!When I called to ask about it my heart was crushed to say the least!í ½í¸‚ I've also been stalking the degree works as well! Messaging you has definitely calmed me down a bit.I guess its easier to deal with when you have someone who can relate.

I did the same with degree works on Sunday. Because it said pre licensure. Then looked at my one from August and it said the same thing, super disappointed. Then I got to thinking about it and none of stuff will change till we accept a position in the program. Needless to say I felt crushed a little bit! I'm hoping we get them soon I got enough stress this semester and this is just amplifying it. I'm glade you reached out I've been struggling the past few days and glade I'm not the only one! I hope we both get it! Chin up!

Hey,

So I'm right there with the both of you, checking my mail, leo, and pretty everything else I can think of a couple times a day. The wait is driving me crazy. Just wanted to share these updates, my wife called last week and was told they would be mailing them the 1st week in April just no exact date yet. I called Tuesday and was given the generic early April response. If I call again or find out anything I'll post on here.

Thanks for responding and sharing that information.This has been an extremely long wait but I am trying to hang in there!I think that it's hilarious that you got you're wife to call!lol!! I've called twice already and now I'm going to have my husband try!hahah!Please keep us posted on any updates and I will do the same. If you don't mind me asking, what are your Hesi scores and GPA? Do you have any experience?
