ODU BSN Fall 2018

Published

Hello all! I see there hasn't been a post made for prospective ODU BSN students for fall 2018, so I wanted to start one.Just curious to know if anyone else is already stressing about the process?lol! How'd everyone do on the hesi, good grades, experience? I am super nervous about this process but I will remain hopeful.Good luck everyone!Lets chat!!

Anybody out there?

You look a bit lonely here...

Haha!Just a little,I guess I'm the only one applying to Odu for the fall start! Are you a nursing student, or just a nice person who stopped by?

I applied as well. I think i commented on another one of your posts. I am just ready to find out the waiting is so nerve wrecking! How did you do on everything?

Hello and thanks for responding! The wait is definitely nerve wrecking but thankfully it is almost over.As for my stats I had a 3.88 pre-req GPA and an 89 on the Hesi. How about you?Did you have any experience?

I had a 4.0 GPA and I got an 83 something on my HESI. I don't have any experience unfortunately! I transferred here from New Mexico and I literally don't have any more classes after this semester so I'm really hoping I get in. I haven't had a and p and chemistry in awhile and that really effected my HESI although I studied like a beast. Lol what about you any experience? That's what I'm really worried about!

Have you met anyone in the program or applying? I've only been here for one semester and I haven't really met anyone going through the program.

I hope we both get in, and always remember what's meant to be will be!I guess worrying is a part of the process but we both gave it our all, so we're winners either way. I actually took the Hesi twice because I didn't do so well on A&P and Chemistry the first time, so you are not alone. When I submitted my application I only had 21 volunteer hours(below the minimum 25) so Im not counting on that helping very much.Did you apply to any other schools?

I only know of one person who is a mutual friends wife, but that's about it.

That is very true! And I took it twice as well the first time was a 79.97 lol so I didn't make the minimum. And I was going to apply to other programs but I was missing the SDV I'm an older student so I didn't. But if I don't make it I'm going to take it and apply for other programs like TCC and Thomas Nelson. I will also try Riverside and Sentara. What about you?

I hope we both get in as well. It's defiantly competitive and a struggle but it will pay off in the end! í ½í¸
