  1. Ttonja Sorry so late on the response but I got into ODU's nursing program!!!!! Good luck on your TEAS and getting into the program I know that you will do well!
  2. Heather , my name is Yamekia Lotrean and I will be looking for you! Congrats again and I am so proud of you!!No more sleepless nights or mini heart attacks, the wait is over!Wooooohoooooo!!
  3. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!Congrats to everyone!!The wait is finally over!!Im overjoyed for all of us!lol! Now I need real names so that I can personally congratulate you guys at orientation!lol!!!
  4. I just got an email saying I was accepted!!!!!
  5. You have great scores so try not to worry too much.I've looked through a few forums and I've seen a few people get in with no experience so I think you'll be fine.I'm sure that my husband wants the decision letter to come more than I do, so i definitely understand!lol!!Good luck and don't forget to keep us updated!í ½í¸€
  6. Hi there MLT83700, Thanks for responding and sharing that information. This has been an extremely long wait but I am trying to hang in there!I think that it's hilarious that you got you're wife to call!lol!! I've called twice already and now I'm going to have my husband try!hahah! Please keep us posted on any updates and I will do the same. If you don't mind me asking, what are your Hesi scores and GPA? Do you have any experience?
  7. I actually thought that I was accepted because my unofficial ODU transcript said Nursing Program(without the words intended degree)hahahah! When I called to ask about it my heart was crushed to say the least!í ½í¸‚ I've also been stalking the degree works as well! Messaging you has definitely calmed me down a bit.I guess its easier to deal with when you have someone who can relate.
  8. I'm right there with you, I usually check before and after the mailman runs!lol!Aww man your classmate is lucky she didn't have to take the Hesi but atleast she gets to enjoy the wait with us.:)I actually called the school last Friday and was told that we should hear something by next week, but I'm not sure if she knew that the 1st was Sunday...hopefully we get them a few days early.Sorry for the random post but I was losing my mind!lol!!
  9. Oh my goodness, I have gotten so antsy over the last couple of days and the wait isn't making it any better.Have you talked to anyone at the school?
  10. I did most of my sciences a little over a year ago, so my memory of some of the information is gone with the wind.lol!! I really hope I don't have to take the TEAS but we shall see.Good luck to you as well and I'll keep you updated.
  11. Once they send decision letters if I am not accepted I will try Sentara. The only thing that sucks is having to take the TEAS which I hear is more difficult than the Hesi.I'm also considering ODU's concurrent program with TCC, but I'd have to be accepted into TCC's nursing program first to even be considered.I'm an older student as well and just want to begin and end a program ASAP!lol!!
  12. I only know of one person who is a mutual friends wife, but that's about it.
  13. I hope we both get in, and always remember what's meant to be will be!I guess worrying is a part of the process but we both gave it our all, so we're winners either way. I actually took the Hesi twice because I didn't do so well on A&P and Chemistry the first time, so you are not alone. When I submitted my application I only had 21 volunteer hours(below the minimum 25) so Im not counting on that helping very much.Did you apply to any other schools?
  14. Hello and thanks for responding! The wait is definitely nerve wrecking but thankfully it is almost over.As for my stats I had a 3.88 pre-req GPA and an 89 on the Hesi. How about you?Did you have any experience?
  15. Kudos to you, learning Spanish is a great idea and could be beneficial as well.Yes I've spoken to a counselor but I'm going to wait until I find out about ODU before applying. Don't worry too much about the test you have a while to prepare and you will have plenty of time to reatke and boost your score if all else fails. You did well on the Hesi so I'm sure you will do great on the TEAS. Do you know anything about the scoring rubric for applicants at Sentara?
