My mom is very disappointed and also because of the money that's been wasted. I really feel down. Thank you for your never ending support. Were not rich and Its hard again to produce the same amount. Besides I have Me and my 2nd brother both of us registered nurse here in our country and 1 still studying nursing. Its hard to find a nurse job here. I'm sorry if I'm telling you this here. I can't tell it to anyone. I just need to let this out. I know this is just an obstacle that I have to get through.
Thank you again guys..
Dearest melissa_m18,
Let me clarify a misconception: the time, money, effort and resources you spent on preparing for the NCLEX are not wasted endeavors. Please, explain that fact to your mother and relatives with kindness. We all have made a lot of sacrifices to achieve a personal goal, and they will be rewarded. You must remember that you are not alone, a lot of people has failed the NCLEX even more than twice, and they keep persisting until they succeed. My best recommendation to you is to get a hold of the book I told you and start Susanne' plan right away. Once you get your license then you worried about this and that, now your priority is to prepare to win...that's your goal. Remember, we are here for you. feliz3
They are stickies which you can find on the main index forum for NCLEX near the top.https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/suzanne-s-plan-please-read-before-starting-326121.html

Thanks Ms. Silverdragon 102 super moderator,
I really appreciate your kindness, consideration and finesse. feliz3
Be aware that even one you pass NCLEX and find a employer you are still looking at several years waiting to get a visa for the US and be able to work due to retrogression. Not sure if you have taken NLE but may be something to consider if you haven't and look for work even in another country for experience

Dear Silverdragon,
For clarification purposes what is the meaning of the term "retrogression" within the context of taking the NCLEX in a foreign country such as the Philippines Islands? Thanks, feliz3

Retrogression for foreign nurse wanting to move to the US is the demand far outweighs the visas allocated and depending on where you are born will depend on how far back visas have regressed to. Also to be taken into account is the 800,000 applications filed in July 07 when a small window opened up for AOS application and only 140,000 visas are allocated every year. Doing the maths will indicate that you are looking at several years waiting and we are seeing less employers willing to petition a foreign nurse due to the long delays. Up to date information can be found in the International forum

Thanks very much for enlightening on the subject! I had no idea of how difficult it has to become to be petitioned for working in USA. feliz3
