Occc fall 2010 hopefulls.....let the waiting begin!!!

Just wandering who is playing the waiting game for OCCC's fall 2010 traditional nursing program acceptance letters!!! these next 2ish months are going to drive me nuts!!!!!:uhoh3:

Nope...I called last Friday but got ZERO info from the health professions office. They essentially told me that yes, there is a verification letter sent out..but had no clue when. I may try to call ****** today to see if she knows when we should expect to receive them! The wait is really starting to get nerve-wracking!

I spoke to someone today and they told be to talk to **** , he's the guy going over the applications this year. I left a message on his voicemail asking if we will get verifiation letters since we are hearing different things from different people. I'll kept everyone posted if i hear anything.

Yeah I left a vm for him like 2 weeks ago now....heard nothing!! Its been a month today...you'd think if we were gonna get verification letters they'd have come out by now since the wait is only supposed to be 6-8 weeks, right? Waiting stinks. Did you by any chance hear back from him aharris?

Nope!!! I haven't heard from him either. I did however speak to someone who applied last semester(didn't get in) and she told me that they will send out the verification letter. She wasn't for sure how long it took though. Im assuming since it will be 5wks this friday they should be out within the next week????

Geez, I hope so!! The wait is getting outta control, LOL. I feel like a little kid at Christmas who thinks its NEVER gonna get here. I wonder if once they send out the verification letters if they will also tell the cut off for pref points?! That way we could figure it out ourselves! Probably hoping for too much there.

Well last semester they said the cut off was at 15 points and a high 3point something gpa. My friend was even waitlisted with 15 points. So i figure anything above that should be fine. Although i did hear that the number of applicants applying this semester was the most they ever received. I should stand at 19 points, but i won't offically know until i get the verification paper in :uhoh3:. You never know!

O with 19 points you should be fine! I have 17 and have a friend who applied with 16...it scares me they had more applicants this semester though! I run out to the mailbox every day just waiting for something..ANYTHING from them, surely its gotta be soon..even if they take 8 weeks for official acceptance letters thats only a little over 3 weeks away.

Hey i just called today and the lady in the Health Profession center said they are mailing out verifications this week!!! Lets hope this is true.

well i was hoping for those verification letters to be sent out last week, but i guess not. Wonder whats the hold up? Was there really that many applicants?

dunno...this is crazy i just wanna no if they got the darn thing...they need to hurry up how hard is it to just tell us they got it...and y cant they just send an email or put it on mineonline to verify they got it....its making me crazy!!!!

Hey,

I just wanted to let you know you guys can go online to mineonline.occc.edu and go to documents.. and you can see on there if they have recieved your application. I would like a letter though!
