Hey,
I was just checking to see who all will be attending the OCCC BADNAP program starting this June. If you are, let me know~:)
Hi everyone! I have been away from home since Friday morning. I'm going home tomorrow afternoon. Do they leave some kind of notice if you are not there to sign for your mail? If the GPA thing is true, then I should be getting a letter. However, I'm also nervous about my paperwork or my classes not going through (even though I met with the advisor).
I still haven't received my letter. I don't know what it could be. My GPA is 3.75, and I met with the advisor and made sure I had all the correct prerequisites. I also haven't really been at my house during the regular mail times, but there hasn't been a note posted or anything of that nature. Very strange. I e-mailed the Director of the nursing program just a bit ago. Hopefully I will figure out what happened tomorrow.
K charles I'm in the same boat as you. People on here obviously received letters on Saturday, and I also know of people that received rejection letters on the same day (in OKC and Edmond). I have a 3.2, while that's not as high as yours I know it's good enough for the 2.9 cutoff they used. Are you in Norman? Idk if it's an area thing, like the post office messed up or what. I'm trying to not get nervous but I really busted my butt this past year so it would suck for it to be a paperwork/lost app issue. So trying to not worry, but it's hard!
Doesn't help that it's spring break and NO ONE is answering their phones/not in office.
I even called my post office to see if they had a certified letter waiting for me to pick up, for if my postman forgot to leave a notice (happened to someone from the last program, got his letter 2 weeks late), but they said they didn't have anything.
Please post if you hear anything! I'll do the same. At this point I just want to know!
Oh geez! I honestly forgot that it was even Spring Break! Man, I just want to know a "yes" or a "no" . . . then later I'll find out why. I'm trying to figure out my future here! :) I wonder why they wait so long to send out the letters. If I didn't get in for whatever reason, then I've got to hit some teacher job fairs at the beginning of April. I live in South OKC, so I'm not sure what's up. Do they send letters no matter what? Acceptance and rejection letters?

I was accepted too! Now I have to decide whether I should stay in the traditional program I have already begun or go with the BADNAP!
