I have to do an NLN test out of Nursing Care During Childbearing and Nursing Care of the Child. Not looking to buy books here but what are some textbooks currently being used in RN programs?

Maternal Child Nursing Care 4e
This book in particular.
Maternal Child Nursing Care - Text and Virtual Clinical Excursions 3.0 Package, 4e: Marilyn J. Hockenberry PhD RN PNP-BC FAAN, Shannon E. Perry RN PhD FAAN, Deitra Leonard Lowdermilk RNC PhD FAAN: 9780323072359: Amazon.com: Books
Not sure how you would approach this, it is something of a monster of a book. Our class was OB/Peds combined and consisted of 4 hr of OB one day a week and 4hr of peds another day a week over an 8-week period. You maybe better off buying a study guide if you're trying to test out.

I recommend you go to the library of a local nursing school (or two). They probably have copies of the required reading and texts. Ask the librarian. You won't be allowed to check them out probably, but you could study there, or copy pages.

Found someone at work who offered to let me use this textbook so I've lucked out. Thanks for the suggestion!
