You definetly wont be short of things to do but you have to see the fountains at the Bellagio, we saw them 2 or 3 times every night that we were there last year. They are absolutely breathtaking.

Yes, the fountians are great!! I am going to Vegas also but not until May. I have tickets to see Celine and am really looking forward to it. Have a great trip and let me know if you find any good deals that I can check out.

trish2307,

I'm leaving on Sat., 4/26, I'll let you know when I get back if I found any exciting deals, Jimmy Buffet is playing in concert Sat. night @ 8:00pm, but our plane arrives in Vegas @ 7:30pm, I would have loved to see that show.

I'm going to Vegas also on the 26th, for a High Risk ER class. I've been there once before. Lots of fun, lots to see and do, lots of $$$. Just be careful. My brother-in-law had $500 dollars taken out of his shirt pocket when someone bumped into him..I guess pickpocketing is common, especially while walking on the strip.

Have Fun RMH

I'm going to Vegas the end of July. Heard about the pickpocket problem so will try to be aware of that. We are bringing the kids and will take them on the rollercoaster and to see the fountains. Any other recommendations for kids?

Thanks!

My sil and db went last year and really enjoyed it. My sil said that she got online and found all kinds of things to see and do.

I just got home yesterday from LV, we had so much fun. I stayed at NYNY Hotel, my daughter loved the rollercoaster there, are you taking any kids? The Blue Man Group show at Luxor is great too. Our favorite buffet was at the Aladin, it was great. In Caesars forum there is a wonderful free show, worth seeing, lots of good shows and restaurants there too. At MGM you can see the lion exhibit and get your picture taken with the lion cubs. For free shows the Bellagio is beautiful, just walk down the strip at night and enjoy it, also Treasure Island show is our favorite.

Wear really comfortable shoes, you will walk so far, each hotel seems like a mile long. If you take the bus it is $2.00/person and you can get off anywhere along the side of the strip that you are on. Most hotels have a Trolly for $1.65 that will take you to other hotels along the strip also. Bring lots of money, you will need it! I did not go dowtown to Freemont St. this time because I thought it was dirty and lots of beggars there last time we went. I don't know what shows you like but if you like magic shows there is a good afternoon show at Tropicana, Rick Thomas. Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo is wonderful too. Well, enjoy and stay safe.

Thanks for the tips! My dh and I are going in June for our 10 anniversary and we can't wait. We haven't been alone on vacation since our honeymoon!! Thanks again.

I got back from Vegas last week...HAD A BLAST!! There were so many things to do, it's just impossible to see everything. Did pretty good on the slots ($3000.00), we saw Howie Mandal, went to the Mirage to see the dolphins & tigers, saw the light show downtown, the fountain show at the Bellagio, LOT's of things to do & see!! Just a tip to you gamblers out there, we did much better when we gambled downtown. We stayed at the Treasure Island, very beautiful. One of the prettiest sites I saw was leaving on the plane, we left at night, the city lights up the whole sky. Can't wait to go back!
