Ob & Peds test out through excelsior

Hello I was trying to find out if there are any Lpns that have tested out of ob & peds through excelsior? If so how bad was it.

Not sure what you mean by testing out. Do you mean the exams that otherwise don't count for Excelsior students? Moved to Excelsior forum.

I'm starting the Lpn to RN program for Ohio university Zanesville. They sd that we can test out of ob and peds class by taking the exam through excelsior.

From that page you can get the exam content guide (similar to a course syllabus) that should help you prepare.

A lot of times you can check out Ebay for the College Network study modules instead of buying the texts recommended by Excelsior. Just a thought. I'm all about saving money on books I don't plan to keep forever!

I don't believe there are college network modules for this exam as it is not accepted towards the Excelsior ASN or BSN program but intended for transfer to other schools like the OP.

Hello has anyone taken this exam to test out for school? I will be testing out so that I will not have to take it my 3 semester in the Lpn to RN program at Ohio university Zanesville. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it was hard and give me some tips on what I may need to study. Thanks in advance!
