I am a quick learner. I have done research on the internet and have read (do a search on this site, look at the stickies at the top of the hh forum, there are references to the OASIS stuff that you can read about, like quickly). I am willing to attend outside training. I am not afraid to ask questions and I take the initiative to look up things on my own. These are a few of the boiler plate answers I would have up my sleeves. Everybody had to learn about OASIS sometime.
If they are worth their salt they will also provide you with the guidence you need to be successful with OASIS in addition to your willingness to learn. You have already the demonstrated ability to work autonomously. I would ask about their productivity requirements if you are salary or per visit and compare that with what you would make at an agency where you are paid hourly. Best of luck to you in your endeavors.

I have a phone intervies scheduled this Tues morning. Please, someone tell me about OASIS! I did homecare 1995-1998. Quit when my company was going under and went back to acute care. I would dearly love to get back into the homecare arena but when I apply/interview and the person learns "you don't have OASIS experience" its all over. I understand they want someone with experience that they don't have to spend money training but!!!!!!! Any suggestions? Also, Any one willing to tell me what to expect as far as pay now a days? I live in colorado. When I did homecare before I was hourly and I understand most agencies now pay per visit. Thanks for any help.
