Hey guys! Has anyone been able to apply to Oakland University AFTER the first August 1st deadline (matriculation Fall 2024)? Their program website says that their app is available on nursingcas through January 1st, 2024. However, when I go to find their program on NursingCas, nothing populates for me to apply?

Gotcha! Thank you so much for the information ? Congratulations again! I am finishing up my application and then I will be sending mine off to OU and UofD and a few more programs in different states. Super nervous!!

No, but I fully anticipate getting a rejection email. Feel like the panel went as good as it could possibly go, but then I botched the sim. Hard learning experience... but an opportunity for growth nonetheless. I'll keep you guys posted.

Without giving away too many details and dismantling the integrity of their interview process, would you mind sharing if the SIM was more so like a critical care ICU scenario or more tailored to an OR scenario? Thank you kindly! My fingers are crossed for you!!

For my experience it was strictly ICU, they know you won't know how to care for anyone in the OR as you haven't been through school and you aren't an OR nurse. I would just say review your basic ICU assessment skills and common drugs you use on a day to day basis in the ICU. It's not going to be specific to CVICU or neuro it'll be something everyone should be able to do.
