Oakland Community College Students 2017

Published

Hello, I am looking to start the program in Fall of 2017! I'm looking to meet students and take this journey together and share our experience

That makes me nervous as well!! What is PPM?

That was a typo meant to put ppl. (people) sorry bout that!! But yes I know the feeling I'm so nervous now!!! I will be staking my mailmen these next few weeks

I'm just going to relax and start stalking in March, it's all in Gods hands now!..so were they saying they are thinking of accepting less or more?

So true it is in gods hands now!!! But they will be accepting less.

Thank you Studentmom10, we have all been on the edge of our seats wondering how many applied! Well if they don't change the number of people they're accepting that means 98% of us will get in.

I'm sure not everyone is a Priority 1 as well, so let's keep that in mind!

Good point lovebomb I only worry cause of majority of my courses came from another school which is used as a tie breaker but only time will tell

Anybody here knows about financial aid? Do you have to apply only when you find out you're accepted into the program or before that?

I would do it before hand, you always have the choice to accept or decline your offers. And sometimes it takes a while to process.

So I am guessing that more than likely the reason they're considering lowering the number of applicants that get in is because they probably don't have as many instructors right now. The job market has been better lately and they're probably not able to hire instructors as easily.

Does anyone know what they are trying to lower it to?

The school is closed Feb 27 -march 4 I wonder if they will mail then off after break????
