Hello, I am looking to start the program in Fall of 2017! I'm looking to meet students and take this journey together and share our experience

Congrats @RyGuy2017 will you be joining the face book group to??

Congratulations everyone!!!

I chose start fall and take pharm during summer, hopefully that's what I get :) Hope to see everyone at orientation. I'll be joining the fb group sometime this week, still need to create a profile.

Congratulation everyone !!!!

I am going to apply to the program in the fall. I am really scared. What were your grades in anatomy and biology when you got in?

Hi vik1996, congrats on your decision to apply! I can definitely understand your anxiety. Hopefully this will help...

I applied with a 3.66 cumulative GPA. For human anatomy and physiology 1, I got a B+ (no retakes). For human anatomy and physiology 2, I got an A (no retakes). For microbiology, I got a B+ (no retakes). It's not so much the grade you get, so long as it is a B or better, but rather the number of retakes it took you to get a good grade. See, OCC goes off of a point system (0-17) - refer to OCC website for admission guide, with 17 being the best. I've had friends that applied this year that 1.) retook 1-2 sciences, 2.) applied with C's in sciences, and 3.) people that transferred in all credits. All got accepted.

Do your best, don't sweat it, and have fun with what you're learning. I wish you the best of luck and please reply if you have anymore questions (I know I had a lot when I applied). Additionally, the BIO-1511 Life science I got a B+, but a C or better is fine for that one as they don't count it in your score.

Hello Vicki I applied with a 3.8 overall however most my credits where transfered in. In both A&P i received a and a B+ in micro..I took Per, humanities and nutrition at occ and got all A so as it stood with occ o was a 4.0 ...I was extremely nervous that I wouldn't be considered because so many transfers but here I am a nursing student!! I wish you the best and please feel free to ask question I was here only less than 2 months so I kno the feeling

Thank you so much!

Hi I applied to the nursing program for the 2018-2019 program. I'm not sure if you still go on here but I sure hope you do and that you've been doing well in nursing school. I was accepted into the program and also have five children and I was wondering if you had any tips on juggling school and having a big family? My email is [email protected] I would really appreciate the help I'm extremely nervous about how I'm going to be able to keep up
