Oakland Community College Nursing Program 2018

Hello everyone!

I am going to apply to the occ nursing progam and hope to get accepted for fall 2018 or winter 2019. Who else will be applying?

so we are allowed to transfer 8 credits right so I transferred micro, anantomy and physiology which at Macomb counted only as one and English comp 1 all from Macomb Community College. Does that mean the two of the transfers are okay?

I believe it transfers exactly the amount of credits you earned in this classes. So micro is 3 or 4, comp is 3, a&p at least 4.

My score is 16.22 out of 17 no transfers or retakes

I didn't have any transfers or retakes either, but I only got b's in my anatomy classes so I got 15.something as my score. I qualified for the first tier though, because I finished my optional classes so I'm confident. I'm going to have to join a study group with you guys with the 16-17 scores though. :up:

You're calculated score should already reflect your transferred classes & amount of retakes. So at this point it's a matter of score/priority evaluation among the other applicants i believe.

Is it true that they send out rejection letters first? I thought I've read that in previous years comments.

I read that as well in previous posts but I don't how accurate that is. I don't know if I can wait till next week is there like a number to call them and see when they will mail them ?
