Hello everyone,,
is is anyone here waiting for their acceptance letter to Oakland community college? Also are there any students here that is currently in the program? I am really pump to get started and is looking for any advice I can receive about the program in general.
What's up Laura! After today I'm literally giving up. I'm tired of getting headaches from thinking too hard and stalking our mailman lol.. The other day the poor guy was at least six houses down and I was ao close to running down there and pushing his truck to my mail box ha. I'm just gonna relax my mind until next Saturday. If it don't come by that time,, I'm driving to highland lake to pick it up!!!!!!!!! Lol
No I took A&P in Southfield.. As ironic as I sound right now, DONT STRESS IT! You def get in. Besides they go by a point system. As long as you did good in those 5 classes u should be good to go. How many points do you think you are applying with? If you feel that's too personal plz feel free to dismiss the question. Im just a little open because the next 2 years of our lives everyone of u will be like family so I don't mind. Im applying with 16 out of 17 points and sweating bullets haha.
I hope so!!!,, the counselor who did my application kept forgetting to check off some boxes. I had to go back to her to recheck my application twice. But I'm almost positive you'll def get in. 13 out of 17 is good. Did you submit ur application early? I can't wait until we get these dam letters so we can laugh about this later. I'm almost too positive they will come by next Saturday.
I applied in October, the day after I completed my HESI haha. And my councilor did not even do the point system with me. I asked him if he was going to go over the point system with me and he said no... So I did mine myself. Hope I did it correctly. Although it was pretty self explanatory.

Right...but taking into consideration that more schools now have nursing programs. The last two years at OCC all the eligible applicants were all accepted because less than 216 people were eligible.
