Oakland community college 2016 applicants

Hello everyone,,

is is anyone here waiting for their acceptance letter to Oakland community college? Also are there any students here that is currently in the program? I am really pump to get started and is looking for any advice I can receive about the program in general.

Hey jasmine and Tbell if you guys don't mind telling me, how many points did you guys apply with?? If y'all don't feel comfortable saying that's perfectly fine too.:)

I am not sure what my score was, but I didn't have any repeats and got 4.0's in the 5 classes that counted. So I think I may have got a perfect score. I'm not sure though. The counselor never went over that with me when I applied.

But my application was little messy (I ended up having ti submit an appeal for misadvisement) when it came to transfers. I have no idea if they counted them as transfers or not so I honestly have no idea! Sorry I couldn't be more help!

EDIT: As far as I know, they did not count the transfers because they said my appeal was approved, so if I had to guess I would say I applied with a perfect score. Lol

I'm so anxious to just start now lol before it was anxious to get my letter, now I'm ready to go!Lol

I wonder why they didn't select our start semester for us? So now by what I'm understanding we will have to wait until probably April to know which start semester we get chosen for right? I'm so confused by this year letter that I'm just gonna wait until I get mine to know Forsure how we tell counselors to register us for pharmacology.

Yeah it was kind of frustrating for me when I opened it cuz I really was wanting to know the start date :/ now only to wait another few weeks

Does it mention an orientation date in the letter by chance?

I want to know that too. If it mentioned when we will receive the second package in the mail, and orientation date.
