NYU Spring 2016

Hi all

Who will be applying here for NYU Spring 2016 semester. I heard the online application should be live 2nd week of August.

@kmichellex - that's reassuring to hear everyone you know has loved the program! If you don't mind me asking, did your friend who recently graduated have trouble finding a job? On other threads I've heard some troubles getting a job after but then again, I guess it's all relative too.

I also emailed an admissions officer and he said: "We try and release by mid November, but it could take up to December for decisions to go out. I unfortunately cannot be more specific."

So just a heads up for everyone. It's basically what we already know anyways lol. I'm seriously surprised there's hardly anyone on this feed compared to other years too!

She got a job at NYP. Most of the people she knew got a job right after graduation. Some didnt because they didnt do anything to work towards it and other did. ABSN students dont really have enough time t to do internships like Traditional students so it may be different from you guys.

She was a traditional student & I have one friend currently in whos ABSN who said shes just relying on clinicals for her to get a job afterwards

Where is everyone? They thread is not not active with many applicants as the previous years.

I guess we are all still waiting for the decisions emails to go out.

Yep, I definitely agree with you all. I'm really crossing my fingers decisions go out tomorrow or Thursday!! I can't wait to find out already!

Is anyone else checking their emails like a crazy person today? Please help me feel less insane lol ;)

Im doing the exact same thing lol, if it comes today it is supposed to come around 11AM Est. So for th next hour ill be hitting refresh on my email every 2 minutes lol
