So to help each other in this non stop job search. I thought I would post when I see job postings from those hospitals who rarely post positions. Just to give ya'll a heads up.
They finally posted some RN positions on the NYU job page. Go ahead and try your luck. I also saw they posted a Student Extern position. Hurry up!!! lol
Good luck! https://nyulangone-openhire.silkroad.com/epostings/index.cfm?fuseaction=app.welcome&category_id=36363&company_id=16370&version=2&startflag=2&parent=Nursing%3B%3B%3BNursing Support&levelid2=36363
And here is the other link https://nyulangone-openhire.silkroad.com/epostings/index.cfm?fuseaction=app.welcome&category_id=36360&company_id=16370&version=2&startflag=2&parent=Nursing%3B%3B%3BStaff&levelid2=36360. I think what it is too, is if you don't select which hospital to search for postings you wouldn't see the postings from different facilities. I didn't realize I was searching in one hospital. Oops. Now we know.

Thank you for that. I have been searching for a job since mid march no luck.
You're welcome. We are in the same boat but my search has been since Novemeber of last year. Good luck
I just pray to God something will open because I need a job now.
ditto. Just stay on top of looking at the job sites daily. I know some hospitals update their postings after 3pm. Usually if you are the first-fifth person to apply to a position your application doesn't get "lost in the sauce".

FYI from what I heard from classmates/friends that interviewed or spoke with recruitment at NYU, they only take new grads with GPA 3.7 or higher or experienced RNs with 2 or more years of experience.
Yeah I looked at their requirements. I think those requirements are ridiculous. But not every position requires 2 years or more, some require just a year. Thanks for the heads up though.

I know ppl who got hired with a less than 3.5 GPA (higher than 3.0). I heard they're not so strict about it like they used to be.
Oh okay, well that is good to know! I don't see what a GPA is going to do for a person who is coding. So its good they loosened their strict guidelines.
