Hi-Can anyone orienting this month give me an idea of what the schedule is like. I know it may vary depending on unit but if you could give me a general idea of what the schedule entails (Hours/Days of the week) I would greatly appreciate it

Hey so depending what unit you are on, classroom setting could be either 3-4 weeks. Usually Monday-Friday 8-4:30/ 9-5/ 7-3. After you are done with classroom setting, you will be on the unit with a preceptor for however many weeks you are required to do so.

Hi again, I have a question about the first day and new beginning orientation. For those that started in January did you meet at the church first or 1 Park Ave ? I am a little confused where we intially meet. Also for this orientation should we wear our Green uniforms if we are inpatient?

On my first day, we went to the alumni hall room in tisch and then to the church after a presentation. And it was mixed, some wore green scrubs and some wore business casual

Anyone have any recommendations on where to order/buy scrubs? and can we wear hunter green or is it just jade,evergreen, and seaspray? Thanks!

@heyguys1234 Hunter green is ok too!! I actually found hunter green/ tropic jade greys anatomy scrubs on Amazon that were not too expensive! "Scrubs and beyond" and "uniform advantage" also have a lot of selection with good deals.

For everyone who has already started or will start on Feb 5th, do you wear business casual or scrubs to the new beginnings orientation? Thank you and I hope everyone who has already started is loving it :) Would love to hear about your experiences so far!

I am unsure where to go in one of my emails it says to go to a church in anouther it says to go to 1 Park at 8:30. Inpatient New grads did you get the same info? Also I asked my recruiter and she said it's ok to go in scrubs because we may go visit the floor
